Blackhawks Rebuild Report: Struggling IceHogs Looking For Firepower

For a long time this season, the expectation for the Rockford IceHogs was to help progress the development of younger players and give them an opportunity to play meaningful games later into the season in March, April, and beyond that the Blackhawks wouldn't be able to provide. But as they begin to slump in the AHL, the potential of playing into the Calder Cup Playoffs is starting to slip away from the piggies.
