The Chicago Blackhawks finished their five-game road trip at the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday night. It wasn’t a perfect game by any means, but the Blackhawks did just enough to win 4-2 to finish the road trip with a 3-2-0 record. With the victory, they jumped ahead of the Nashville Predators and Colorado Avalanche in the Central Division standings.
The Ducks got off to a fast start, which is nothing new. They had 11 of the first 12 shots of the game, but defenseman Isaak Phillips put the puck in the net on just the Blackhawks’ third shot of the night.
