Another game, another night where the Chicago Blackhawks wasted possessions with passes to nobody and had defensive lapses that cost them. In the end, it was a pretty typical night which ended in a 4-2 loss to the Boston Bruins.
The Blackhawks needed only 83 seconds to score first for the seventh time in the last eight games. Nick Foligno got to a rebound, skated around the net, and got the puck to the high slot, where Alex Vlasic buried over a sprawling Jeremy Swayman for his first goal of the season. Morgan Geekie tied the game later in the first period by getting to a puck that squeaked through Petr Mrazek and sweeping it home.
