Blackhawks Beat: Chicago’s battle for 2025-26 roster spots has already begun

Since the March 7th NHL Trade Deadline, the Blackhawks have committed to playing as many young defensemen as possible: Rookies Artyom Levshunov and Sam Rinzel have recently made their NHL debuts, and youngsters Kevin Korchinski, Ethan Del Mastro, and Wyatt Kaiser have been in the lineup consistently.
The youth movement is underway, but it's not just for show or because the season has been lost since...well...November.
As the Blackhawks prepare for the 2025-26 season, they're using this opportunity to evaluate:

Who is ready for the NHL?
Who needs more time in Rockford?
Will the Hawks need to fill a spot with an outside veteran?
