Chicago Blackhawks centennial season patch

We’re still 63 days away from the official start of the Chicago Blackhawks Centennial Season, but that didn’t stop the organization from dropping its 2025-26 promotional schedule on Tuesday.

The Blackhawks will divide their season into four “chapters”:

  • Chapter One: The Originals
  • Chapter Two: The Madhouse
  • Chapter Three: The Banner Years
  • Chapter Four: The Next Originals

Chapter One: The Originals

This chapter “will spotlight the visionary players and leaders whose ingenuity and willingness to challenge convention established the Blackhawks as not just participants in hockey history, but as architects who shaped its very foundations.”

  • October 17 vs. Vancouver: Stan Mikita Bobblehead (first 8,000 fans)
  • November 15 vs. Toronto: The Originals Centennial Celebration Night and Tony Esposito Bobblehead (first 8,000 fans)

“The Originals” will honor the Blackhawks of the 1960s and before.

Chapter Two: The Madhouse

Chapter Two “will resurrect the distinctive traditions born within those hallowed walls that continue to define the authentic Blackhawks experience today.”

  • November 23 vs. Colorado: Denis Savard Bobblehead (first 8,000 fans)
  • December 13 vs. Detroit: The Madhouse Centennial Celebration Night and Chris Chelios Bobblehead (first 8,000 fans)

“The Madhouse” will honor the Blackhawks of the 70s-80s-90s-00s leading up to the franchise’s Cup runs of the 2010s.

Chapter Three: The Banner Years

Chapter Three “will immerse fans in the electric atmosphere of those dynasty seasons as Cup-winning alumni return to relive the moments when the Stanley Cup was hoisted overhead amid a sea of red and black.”

  • January 17 vs. Boston: The Banner Years Centennial Celebration Night and Duncan Keith Bobblehead (first 8,000 fans)

“The Banner Years” will honor the Blackhawks dynasty of the 2010s.

Chapter Four: The Next Originals

Chapter Four “will offer a glimpse into hockey’s tomorrow, celebrating its evolution across culture, technology, and community that will continue to redefine the sport. The Next Originals isn’t merely a celebration, it’s Chicago’s unwavering dedication to growing the game through innovation and investment in young athletes and the next generation of fans for the next 100 years.”

  • March 6 vs. Vancouver: The Next Originals Centennial Celebration Night and Tommy Hawk Bobblehead (first 8,000 fans)

“The Next Originals” will honor the Blackhawks of the present and future.

All of these Celebration Nights are expected to have notable alumni in attendance and a higher level of in-game production.

Aside from the “Chapter” celebrations, the Hawks will also offer several other promotions and special events throughout the season.
