Worked in the media for Ohio University in the early 2000’s. I cannot tell you how much OU was still bummed they didn’t land him as a dual threat QB. Years later they still lamented the miss. Dude was an absolute stud. Great article!

Fantastic get, seeking out that insight from coach BA. He had a knack for identifying talented assistant coaches, often former players. A trend Dan Campbell and Johnson have embraced as well, one that led Randel-El back home. Great story.
