Absolutely agree with you. The verbal beating he took immediately after that game was inexcusable. By the way, your partner (the lesser Adam) was one of the worst right after that game and has been back pedaling faster than Peanut Tillman going against Megatron ever since. People also forget the catch against the Browns that reminded every one of the Montana/Clark catch too.

One more thing about this, did you see Jarrett Payton’s interview with George McCaskey? He specifically mentioned how DJ mentioned Virginia during his acceptance speech and said something like “that tells you the kind of class he has”, so I really don’t see George being okay with DJ getting dumped without some pretty convincing reasoning.

It’s great to have young pass catchers such as Odunze, Burden, and Love; but the Bears need a veteran WR like Moore.
It doesn’t make sense to trade him for a possible 4th rd pick.

I still remember the buzz around Moore when he arrived in Chicago. Then he went out and scored on his very first touch as a Bear in a preseason game. Dude has earned the right to be a Bear (and stay a Bear) in this transition phase from bottom of the league to top 10 offense.
