How long has it been since the Chicago Bears beat the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field?

Well, the last time the Bears beat the Packers in Green Bay, Donald Trump had not been elected President, TikTok had yet to be invented and the Chicago Cubs were entering their 108th season without a World Series title.

So can the Bears finally end that streak that began in 2015 — as well as an overall losing streak that dates back to December 2018? Most of the country will be watching as Justin Fields and the upstart Bears try to deal a loss to Jordan Love and the Packers to keep them out of the NFL playoffs.

Here’s how we see this one shaking out …

Adam Hoge (10-6) — Packers 20, Bears 19

I actually think this is a game the Bears should win. Their defense should be the best unit on the field and give Justin Fields and the offense a chance to maintain a lead against a suspect Packers passing defense. In many ways, I want to make a similar prediction that I did in Week 1, when I thought the Bears were the better team and Fields was the better quarterback. Unfortunately, they didn’t show up to that game and I vowed to myself that I wouldn’t be burned again until the Bears proved they can beat Green Bay. Prove me wrong, Bears.

Nicholas Moreano (8-8) — Bears 23, Packers 20

The teams that played in Week 1 at Soldier Field are completely different than the ones that will meet in Week 18 at Lambeau. The Bears’ defense is one of the top units in the NFL and has two Pro Bowlers in Montez Sweat and Jaylon Johnson. Justin Fields is coming off one of his best games of the season against the Falcons. Unlike the first matchup, I think Fields and DJ Moore will connect plenty of times in this must-win game for the Packers. Bears knock their rival out of playoff contention and get their first three-game win streak to close out the 2023 NFL season. 

Will DeWitt (8-8) — Bears 28, Packers 27

Even though I swore I wouldn’t pick the Bears over the Packers until they proved to me that they can win these rivalry games, something gravitated me toward making this prediction. And no, I don’t believe I am listening to my heart more than my head. There are plenty of reasons to believe the Bears can beat the Packers and finish the year winning five of their final six games. Every positional unit is playing at a higher level than they were in Week 1 including all three levels of the Bears’ defense that is playing its best football in years. Add in the fact that Justin Fields will play with a massive chip on his shoulder in what could be his final game as a Bear, and in this rivalry, I firmly believe we are going to see him give it his all on Sunday. The Bears beat the Lions and the Vikings after losing to them. They learned lessons and took advantage of their second chances. They’ll continue that pattern in Lambeau and take down Jordan Love’s Packers, and take them straight out of the playoffs. Talk about a high heading into the offseason!

Corey Wootton (9-7) — Bears 28, Packers 24

Offense redeems themselves after that terrible opening day game against the pack. Fields continues to showcase his talents and build his connection with DJ Moore. Defense makes a huge stop at the end to clinch the game and knock the pack out of the playoffs. NO PACK NO!

Greg Braggs Jr. (10-6) — Bears 27, Packers 24

Justin Fields leads the Bears to a game-winning touchdown with under a minute to go in the game, ushering in the craziest offseason in Bears history and the toughest decision any GM has had to make regarding their starting QB and the No. 1 pick!

Mark Carman (10-6) — Packers 27, Bears 25

Jordan Love makes us all sick. Justin and the offense flash again, but come up just short. Carman nails his before season prediction of 7-10. 

Kevin Kaduk (10-6) — Bears 23, Packers 21

The Bears defense is better than the Packers defense and the Bears offense should more than hang with Jordan Love and the Packers. Bears win for the first time in Green Bay since 2015, sending the franchise into its biggest offseason since the spring of 1986.

Jake Flannigan (7-9) — Bears 27, Packers 10

The legend of Justin Fields officially begins.
