Bears coach Ben Johnson had never been a head coach or offensive coordinator calling plays for a quarterback who wasn’t a No. 1 overall pick. How would he do? Extremely well was the obvious answer.

Johnson was in his bag all night. Case Keenum had a night he will never forget. And…the Bears defense showed up once again. It was an impressive night all around for the now 2-1 Bears, trouncing the Philadelphia Eagles, 27-7.

You could not ask for more from Case Keenum. Johnson told the story after the game of Keenum running the quarterback meeting Saturday night and walking through the game plan. The coaches normally do it but Keenum took the lead this time. He laid out exactly where he was going to go with the football and then executed it perfectly.
