I’ve resisted the notion that the OL coach was not a top-tier coach when I’ve heard it from other sources. However, two weeks in a row, guys were not executing and not getting to the point of attack. Don’t get me started on the FA signings other GMs made during training camp for OL help and the Bears stubbornly stuck to their guns. Now those guns are pointed squarely at Caleb. I hope he survives the next few weeks while things get figured out. Change is necessary, where and how is a question for the front office. I’m starting to think Kiran couldn’t be any worse than we’ve seen and that the Canadian Eagle sits on the Practice Squad. Obviously, two rookies on the OL is not a solution, but trying one of them seems like a prudent move to see what you have.
