I’m glad you noted the “free play TD in front of Aaron Rodgers” thing. That was my immediate reaction in the moment- we saw that SO many times over the years here. It wasn’t always a TD, but it was almost always a huge play- and for him to see us do that (almost twice!) to his team was a pretty decent consolation prize to not being able to beat him on the field. That and his seemingly telepathic connection with Davante Adams- where they just had this uncanny ability to adjust plays as they happened to take advantage of whatever the defense was doing- are the two things that really stand out to me most about his time as the GB QB. That’s something that I’ve hope we’ll see develop between Caleb & Rome- those two things won GB so many games, and if the Bears start regularly doing the same, we’re going to be in for a really fun decade+ here.
