Adam, kudos to you for defending these ridiculous statements throwing DJ under the bus & blaming him for that interception without any information from DJ. Like you, I don’t know what his actual responsibility was on that play but I think most of this was from Collinsworth’s stupid comments.
DJ has been a real trooper since he’s been here & took a physical beating yesterday prior to that play. I don’t think he dogged it but I can absolutely understand he physically couldn’t run full speed at that point but with Loveland already sidelined, he wasn’t going to let his team down.
Thanks for taking a level headed approach to this.

Sorry, that was supposed to say “defending DJ” in the first sentence
JOHN HOERBER
I agree with Bob A. DJ was working through physical back injury from Nixon cheap shot block in the back. Inspite of that injury, DJ made great catch after great catch. Give DJ some slack please.
Adam, I became a diehard because of your great columns. Thank you for all you do with your writing, Hogue and Jahns and drop in guess spots from Halas Hall and Soldier Field.

Adam,
Great insights. Looking forward to articles tracking coaching changes, players health, Trapilo especially, player movement. Became a diehard upon your addition. Tell Hoge no more skipping the white board. Great prep!
