Do we think there’s any chance that Caleb could be benched for Tyson or Case if he struggles massively and/or doesn’t make significant improvements from his performance last year? Similar to what Bryce Young? I sincerely hope not, but I’m wondering if Caleb has any sort of leash this season with Ben Johnson in charge.

Is the pressure & coverage different for the other QB’s because of defensive personnel or because the plays aren’t run as efficiently? We seem to hear this each season since Bagent was signed both with Justin & Caleb.

For those of us who couldn’t see it, can you offer any more specificity to why Caleb is off? Is he holding the ball too long? Missing open guys? Are they bad passes?

It’s a bit of all the above. He’s holding the ball and missing open guys. There is pressure on some plays, too.

Caleb has to make those check down throws if he wants a chance at 70% completion rate. Pull the trigger quickly and decisively or we are back to Justin Fields all over again.

Please provide more context of Caleb’s struggles? Hoping this weekend will lead to more videos posted on X so that we can see for ourselves.
