Smythe played a lot of snaps for a third tight end. I like Jahns’ thinking. I would actually be a bit surprised if the Bears didn’t draft a TE although it sounds like they really like Kalinic.

Best case scenario is a team wants to move into the first round or move up when the Bears are on the clock. I would be happy to move down if it means adding another top 100 pick. I don’t expect a desperation move like the Falcons giving up a first rounder to draft James Pearce, but that would be a dream scenario.

I agree that Jahns took this one, but I really like the late 2nd round and 3rd round picks by Hoge. That said, I don’t think Iheanachor will be there at 60 and Lance in the 3rd is a bit of a luxury pick. I like the idea of getting Lance, but considering the earlier picks, it would be interesting to know what was available at DT, S or even OC at that spot.
