CHICAGO – As the media gathered around backup quarterback Tyson Bagent in the Bears locker room, Caleb Williams came through for a quick stop at his own stall.
He was in slides, shorts and a T-shirt.
He carried a drink and some snacks.
And he didn’t have a distinguishable limp.
Williams moved through the crowded locker room – navigating past all the bins full of equipment, the balls of tape and towels left on the ground and wandering media members – under his own power after suffering a hamstring injury late in the Bears’ 9-3 loss on a soggy Sunday at Soldier Field.
He didn’t require the help of crutches as he left with Bears security personnel and walked through the corridors of the Bears’ home field toward the players’ exit. Left tackle Braxton Jones also said Williams came through the locker room and shook everyone’s hands.

Outside of Sam Roush, Luther Burden played an awful game today, missed blocks, two drops, caused the INT because he’s awful at scramble drill. When he was the 4th read he just didn’t give an effort
Rome should be WR1 moving forward. A truly pitiful effort from #10 today

You guys told us all training camp that Loveland looked “unstoppable.” I get how Caleb’s hamstring will dominate this Bears news cycle, but this lack of targets and involvement has to be a close 2nd. I hope you get some answers.
