Bears Things: Thomas Brown is winning press conferences — now he has to win games

Good morning.
Feels like a good time to end a losing streak, doesn’t it?
I detailed in this newsletter a couple of weeks ago how impressed I was with Thomas Brown, who at that point was only halfway through his 18-day climb from passing game coordinator to interim head coach of the Chicago Bears.
But the vibes are real with Brown, who has impressed reporters and fans with his press conferences, but more importantly his players in team meetings and on the practice field.
That matters. But if Brown and the Bears want to remain together in 2025 — an ideal scenario for Caleb Williams — they are going to have to win some games. And that starts Sunday in Northern California.
