Bears Things: Ryan Poles finally reinforces line of scrimmage

You could claim Bears general manager Ryan Poles built the team backwards. He’d probably tell you he simply pounced on available positions at the right time over the last four offseasons.
Regardless, Poles and new head coach Ben Johnson have finally addressed the trenches. And they’ve done so with authority.
In just a week, the Bears completely rebuilt the interior of their offensive line and added two new starters on the defensive line. The moves didn’t come cheap, but for the first time in a long time, there’s reason to believe the Bears can consistently move the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Amen.
