Good morning, Bears fans!
By now, you’ve probably read/heard about the offensive struggles the last two days (and you’ll find links to those details later on in this newsletter), but I want to focus on what Caleb Williams has done well and what he still needs to improve on now that we’ve seen seven practices.
The Good
The talent is as advertised. Williams’ release is quick and he has an impressive ability to change arm angles while maintaining velocity and accuracy. He also looks comfortable stepping up in the pocket, which is extremely notable considering the Bears’ pass rush has been all over him in practice.
