Good morning, Bears fans!
The buzz is back with the Chicago Bears.
Don’t confuse that with hype. We’ve had plenty of games hyped up even when the Bears weren’t actually that good — remember the season openers against the Packers in 2019 and 2023?
This feels different. The question is no longer: Are the Bears good?
No, the question now is: How good are the Bears?
It’s been awhile since I was this excited for a game on the Bears’ calendar, in part because I believe we’ll find out on Sunday if they are legitimate contenders in the NFC. But I also can’t remember a game with this many storylines:
