It POURED during the joint practice yesterday, but it was still good to see the Bears and Bengals get the practice in outside because you really need two fields to adequately run a practice with two teams.
Here are three takeaways from the joint session:
Jaylon Johnson continues to look like he’s taking his game to another level. The second-team All-Pro apparently isn’t satisfied with his recognition or his new massive contract, because he somehow looks even better. Thursday, he was barely targeted by Joe Burrow, and when he was, there was no chance of a completion. I counted two PBUs for No. 1. I guess that NFL 100 snub really hit home.
