Good morning, Bears fans!
Bad news — We seem to be having similar conversations about how the Bears’ defense looks better than the Bears’ offense.
Good news — The Bears’ defense looks really good.
I’ve been hesitant to anoint them a “top five” defense as so many Bears players have proclaimed, but I’ve also appreciated that many of them insist they show it on the field first.
“We haven’t proved anything. The season hasn’t even started,” linebacker Jack Sanborn said Monday.
True, but they are proving some things on the practice field. While the offense continues to experience some ups and downs, the defense has been consistently tough every day.
