Hoge's Bears Mock Draft 1.0: Keeping Justin Fields and getting a haul of picks after trading No. 1

With the NFL Combine kicking off this week in Indianapolis, perhaps we’re finally nearing a resolution with the Bears’ quarterback situation.

If last year was any indication, this week will be crucial for Bears general manager Ryan Poles as he decides what to do with the No. 1 overall draft pick and quarterback Justin Fields.

At this point, I’m fully on record that I believe the Bears should draft USC quarterback Caleb Williams (and I believe that is the most likely outcome) but I am also open to exploring other scenarios because I believe Fields is a starting NFL quarterback.
