Matt Eberflus is gone. Thomas Brown, who was the team's offensive passing game coordinator four games ago, is now the interim head coach for the next five weeks.
Three heart-wrenching, mind-boggling, stupefying losses within the division in 12 days can do that, even to the Chicago Bears, who hadn't fired a head coach during a season in the 105-year existence of the franchise before Friday.
Chicago will be looking for their sixth head coach since chairman George McCaskey took control of the organization in 2011, and it'll be the first hire under president and CEO Kevin Warren.
