LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Chicago Bears' 20-19 loss to the Green Bay Packers on a blocked Cairo Santos 46-yard field goal still doesn't feel better now that time has passed.
It might feel even worse since the Bears put together plenty of quality tape. The offense saw the most significant improvement. Offensive coordinator Thomas Brown incorporated quick reads for rookie quarterback Caleb Williams and ran significantly more pre-snap motion. With those adjustments and players being more keyed in on the details, the offense scored two touchdowns—something that hadn't happened since the Week 9 game against the Commanders.
