LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Chicago Bears' defense clearly is the strength of the team after the first two weeks of the 2024 NFL season.
Despite the Bears falling to the Texans, 19-13, on Sunday Night Football at NRG Stadium, the defense did its part in limiting Houston to just one touchdown scoring drive, which occurred on the Texans' second drive of the game.
The Texans scored a field goal and a touchdown to start the game, but the remainder of the game was a struggle for the highly potent offense. In the final 10 possessions after the touchdown, excluding the kneel-down, the Texans were held to three field goals and six punts and had a drive end with a lost fumble.
