LAKE FOREST — Wednesday marked the first day the media was granted access to the Chicago Bears’ locker room.

I went around and asked some Bears players what stands out so far about this Green Bay Packers team.

Here is what D’Onta Foreman, Noah Sewell, Tyler Scott and Eddie Jackson had to say about their NFC North divisional opponent.

D’Onta Foreman

What kind of problems does the Packers’ front seven present for what you guys are trying to do offensively?

“I mean they got a lot of good players. They give you a lot of different formations. They try to throw you off with the different formations they throw at you. I mean honestly I just feel like we just got to be aware of what they’re in, what packages they’re in and being able to execute based on what they’re giving us.”

Has there been any talk about Kenny Clark and what he does specifically that impacts the running backs and the offensive line?

“I mean, not necessarily, but definitely just knowing he is a good player. Knowing that he is somebody that, you know, we got to slow down as much as we can. I just think we got to go out there and play our game. Be physical. Try to wear them down.”

Tyler Scott

When you look at this Packers secondary, what stands out about them and what have you talked about as a wide receiver room for you to be successful on Sunday?

“I mean obviously they have an all-pro cornerback in Jaire Alexander. I actually have been watching him since he was at Louisville. You know since I love Lamar Jackson, so he was someone who jumped out of my screen when I was watching Louisville. This guy is good. He returned punts as well when he was there. He is obviously someone who jumps out on the screen, so kind of their No. 1 guy. Then you got there other guy. I think they have (Rasul) Douglas this week on the other side, and they’re two different players in kinda how they play.

“I think with them it’s really just being in attack mode the whole time. They’re not a team that is really going to come up and get in your face so to speak when they’re playing you. They’re going to kind of let things happen in front of em. Sometimes that can be an Achilles heel so to speak. But I think just being on attack mode, and I think that comes with our game plan. Just being in attack mode the whole time. “

Noah Sewell

What does the Packers’ offense do well and what are some of the key focuses for the linebackers going into this matchup?

“They do a good job of getting to the perimeter. We just got to be ready to go sideline and just make a play.”

You said the Packers like to get to the perimeter. How do you identify that in a split second and get in a position to make a play?

“It’s just we pick up little tendencies of those perimeter plays. Let’s say there are three receivers (to the left) and there is one (to the right), we know that their perimeter guy is at the three spot. We kinda know that. It’s also on the fly by too. The QB just takes the ball, gets set, and then we know it’s a perimeter play.”

Eddie Jackson

Jackson was asked during a media scrum about his early impressions on Jordan Love?

“Um. He can do some different things. Like you said, there’s not too much film on him so we’ve just got to go out there and play our game. Feel like he wants to get off on a quick game, get some completions, get his confidence going early, so we just have to be on our Qs.”

The Bears’ veteran safety was also asked what he expects from the Green Bay offense without Aaron Rodgers?

“I mean, their offense is going to kind of stay the same. It’s going to be some unscouted looks because he hasn’t played a lot of ball. We expect to see things we didn’t see with Aaron. It’s always a challenge going out there, first game, they are adding new plays, we are adding new plays. We just have to go out there and play our game, don’t expect to see nothing different. Just go out there and execute.”
