LAKE FOREST, Ill. — There are few opposing coaches more familiar with Bears quarterback Caleb Williams than Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores. 

And vice versa.

Flores is the only defensive coordinator in the NFC North who held the same position when Williams entered the NFL in 2024. 

“These weeks are obviously super tough,” Williams said this week at Halas Hall. “Five or six days out of the week, you’re just spending as much as you can trying to figure out anything to be able to give your team the advantage. That’s the phase that we’re in right now. We’re going throughout the week, you’re getting a little less sleep and all of that. This week is not fun during the week.”
