The Bears alone released and waived 31 players on Sunday, less than 24 hours after the final whistle of their preseason finale in Tennessee. They designated another seven with injury tags.
The hard part isn’t over either. The 53-man roster is a work in progress. So is the practice squad, which the Bears can begin adding to at 12 p.m. on Monday.
