The Chicago Bulls were tied to Mathurin as a possible late offseason suitor, but on Wednesday morning the restricted free agent struck a deal with the New Orleans Pelicans. Peck, Big Dave and Will Gottlieb discuss whether the Bulls missed out on Mathurin, and whether there’s a different move to be made. Jake Fischer reported that the Bulls are “involved” in Kuminga’s ongoing availability. Fischer also mentioned that the Pelicans are looking to move Jordan Hawkins to get under the luxury tax.
