This is the NFL and we are working on “fundamentals?” Shouldn’t you have a pretty good handle on those before someone gives you a multi-million dollar contract?

I’ve said this before but the character and attitude of the players Poles brings in, with few exceptions, is outstanding. Listening to all of the player interviews makes you want to root for all of them to be successful. Very humble, yet confident, team first mentality from each one. Winning makes good locker rooms but character makes them great. Look at places like Philly with a few guys like AJ Brown who taint the whole group. Other than Claypool a few years ago, I don’t remember anyone Poles has brought in who has been a “bad apple”. We can pick on some of his talent choices (Nate Davis, Velus, Zah Frazier, maybe Hyppolite but let’s see how he does this training camp) but no problem children.
