Good solid reporting & analysis Jahns. In my humble opinion, Johnson has these guys too tight, afraid of making errors, then they remember they are playing football. Did not Terrell Suggs say something like “Football is a simple game made complicated by coaches”? This is where Bears are missing the Dan Campbell part of the equation. All season the Bears have lacked urgency in opening three quarters of games. They cannot continue to wait till closing time to make a move.

Caleb Williams still has plenty of work to do, but the drops by his receivers continue to be a problem. Burden should have had a big gain on the first play after the Byard interception. Loveland and Walker also had bad drops. Another trend that can’t continue if the Bears want to have a deep playoff run.
