Pigs in Puck: IceHogs adjust to changes behind the bench & in the crease

The Rockford IceHogs had another busy week with three games and plenty of moves off the ice. On Monday, the Chicago Blackhawks recalled defenseman Kevin Korchinski and goaltender Drew Commesso. D.J. King and Ben Gaudreau were recalled from the ECHL’s Indy Fuel in a corresponding move.  
On Wednesday, the IceHogs wrapped up their six-game road trip with a 5-0 blowout loss at the Iowa Wild. Gaudreau made his AHL debut by relieving starter Mitchell Weeks for the third period. He stopped five of six shots, with the only goal allowed coming on a breakaway.
