When one of the greatest coaches in NFL history considers your organization an attractive destination, the least you could do is make a phone call.
According to ESPN's Seth Wickersham, Bill Belichick and some of his former assistants, including Matt Patricia, Michael Lombardi and Josh McDaniels, viewed the Chicago Bears in that way.
However, the Bears didn't reciprocate the interest.
