The Chicago Bulls drop their second straight on Monday night against the Utah Jazz, 135-126. The previously winless Jazz were without their star Lauri Markkanen, but still managed to earn their first victory of the season.
— Zach LaVine (adductor) was a scratch. Despite a shoulder (AC sprain) injury landing him on the injury report prior to Friday's game in Brooklyn, LaVine played. Later on in the weekend, he landed on the IR again with a new issue, which does not appear to be a long term issue.
