GLENDALE, Ariz. – With the Bears down 20 and only 33 seconds remaining in the game against the Cardinals, Caleb Williams lined up in the shotgun for a pass. The rookie quarterback stepped up in the pocket after backup right tackle Jake Curhan gave up pressure. Cardinals defensive end Victor Dimukeje tracked down Williams from behind and brought him to the ground after Williams completed a 6-yard pass to Keenan Allen.
Williams was on the ground in obvious pain and was helped up by Roschon Johnson. The Bears' franchise quarterback then started limping toward his sideline as the final seconds ticked down in the 29-9 loss to the Cardinals.
