The Chicago Blackhawks and San Jose Sharks gave us some tricks and treats with their late-night Halloween duel in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, the SAP Center became a house of horrors as the Sharks pushed their winning streak to three games with a 3-2 victory over the Blackhawks.
The Blackhawks didn’t get off to the start they wanted to, as Will Smith scored his first NHL goal seven minutes into the game. That play served as a wake-up call for the visitors as Ryan Donato answered with his third goal in the last two games just 36 seconds later.
