The Chicago Blackhawks wrapped up their four-game homestand against the Nashville Predators on Friday night, a team they were ahead of in the point standings entering the contest. The Blackhawks got the fast start they were looking for but could not hold on as the Predators pulled off the 3-2 comeback win.
Unlike the previous two games, the Blackhawks got off to a fast start. Craig Smith opened the scoring against his former team less than three minutes into the game. Lukas Reichel patiently waited out a sliding defender before making a great pass for the tip-in goal. He has the primary assists on all three of Smith’s goals.
