The Chicago Bulls used training camp as a tryout for their 15th roster spot and final two-way spot. Auditioning against Talen Horton-Tucker (who earned the final roster spot), Kenneth Lofton Jr., Marcus Domask and Onuralp Bitim was EJ Liddell.
Liddell, 23, was selected 41st in the 2022 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Pelicans. He profiles as a switchable big wing with the potential to be a versatile defender and floor spacer. However, he tore his ACL during his second Summer League game in the 2022 season, and hasn't had a chance to carve out a niche for himself.
