The Chicago Blackhawks wrapped up their season-opening four-game road against the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night. Unfortunately, the road trip didn’t end on a high note as the Flames remained undefeated on the season with a 3-1 win. The Blackhawks will return to the Windy City and host the San Jose Sharks for their home opener on Thursday night.
Chicago Steel alum Matt Coronato broke the scoreless tie late in the first, taking advantage of Petr Mrazek losing his net. It took the Blackhawks only 10 seconds to tie the game as Nick Foligno redirected a Seth Jones shot behind Dustin Wolf.
