Why is Colson Montgomery, one of the Chicago White Sox top prospects, making a return trip to play in the Arizona Fall League?
The answer is quite simple, really.
“We’re going to hope he continues to get better at baseball,” White Sox player-development boss Paul Janish said last month, in what’s becoming a trademark dry-humor style.
