The final horn has sounded in Milwaukee and the preseason is over, we can move on to what we're all truly here for — the 2024-25 NHL regular season for the Chicago Blackhawks.
Not that a 1-4-1 preseason record is any cause for celebration, or for major concerns (🫡 ), but it didn't necessarily instill a ton of confidence around the fanbase in the season ahead and the direction the Blackhawks are heading. While I have my questions and concerns as we move closer to the October 8 season-opener in Salt Lake City against the Utah something or others, there are still good things that can come out of this season amongst the unknowns.
