Chicago Bears Grades: Defense & Special Teams Key Week 1 Win over Tennessee Titans

A win, is a win, is a win. It was far from pretty at Soldier Field when the Bears' offense looked like, let's be honest, what it has always looked like. Down 17-0 late in the second quarter, it felt like the Bears were going to disappoint their fans and themselves once again.
But somehow, behind special teams and an improved second half defense, the Bears were able to rally to an improbable 24-17 thriller. This was not a formula built for long term success, but to win a game without scoring an offensive touchdown while your franchise quarterback is finding his way bodes well. Lets see how much improvement can be made from Week 1 to next Sunday night at Houston. On to the grades.
