Chicago Bears Training Camp Observations: Caleb Williams will not play in the Hall of Fame Game

LAKE FOREST — Matt Eberflus has spoken. The decision has been made. There will be no reps for any of the starters in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game including quarterback Caleb Williams.
Was that the right choice? The Bears offense very much remains a work in progress. Williams saw more pros than cons to playing in the Hall of Fame game. Unfortunate reminder, the Bears started off last season 0-4.
With an opportunity to get more game experience, the Bears chose to pass.
