The Bulls were positioned 12th in the lottery, with a 1.7% chance of landing the #1 overall pick and 8% chance of jumping into the Top 4…They stayed at 12. The shocking twist was the Dallas Mavericks – in the wake of the Luka Doncic trade and a broken fanbase – landing the #1 pick and the right to draft Cooper Flagg from the 11th lottery spot. Dallas won a coin flip over the Bulls to decide who was slotted 11th and 12th, given their identical regular season records. Meaning, had the Bulls won that coin toss, they would’ve had the winning combination drawn for the #1 pick. Just brutal.
