The Chicago White Sox defeated the New York Yankees in the opener of their series Monday night. Dylan Cease allowed just 1 hit but walked 7 batters while not allowing a run. Andrew Vaughn provided the big blow with a 2-run homer in the 2nd inning to give the Sox a lead they would not relinquish. Overshadowing the game was many reports of White Sox clubhouse culture prior to the game. Rick Hahn, Pedro Grifol, and Yasmani Grandal all spoke to the media to address rumors of players sleeping in the bullpen, a clubhouse altercation between Grandal and Tim Anderson, and a lack of structure within the organization.
