The Chicago White Sox fell in a nail-biter Tuesday night in the series opener versus the Texas Rangers. Despite trading Lucas Giolito and Lance Lynn prior to the MLB Trade Deadline, no one could blame the pitching for this loss. Jesse Scholtens stepped into a starting role and pitched admirably, allowing just 1 run on 3 hits in 6 innings of work. The offense, however, came out flat after trading Jake Burger earlier in the day to the Miami Marlins. The Sox managed just 3 harmless singles off of the Rangers. With the trade deadline coming and passing earlier in the day, Rick Hahn addressed the media after dealing Jake Burger and Keynan Middleton on Tuesday. One of the main topics of conversation: the future of the Chicago White Sox. Join Herb Lawrence, Vinnie Duber and Sean Anderson as they recap the busy day for the White Sox front office on the CHGO White Sox LIVE Postgame Podcast.
