The Chicago Cubs fell in the finale of their series versus the San Diego Padres Monday night. Kyle Hendricks was the tough-luck loser, plagued by an inconsistent strike zone, bad defense and no run support. All told, Hendricks allowed 4 runs in 6 innings of work, retiring the final 10 batters he faced. The offense was only able to muster 4 hits, all singles, in the loss.
