The Chicago White Sox welcomed Jose Abreu back to the south side for the first time, and he was greeted with a familiar sight, a White Sox loss. The lone run for the Sox came via a mammoth shot from Luis Robert Jr, his 9th home run of the year. Michael Kopech allowed just 1 hit, but control was once again an issue, allowing 6 walks and 2 runs. Abreu went 1-4 with a single in his return.
