The Chicago White Sox jumped out to an early lead versus the San Francisco Giants Wednesday afternoon and never trailed in the game. Dylan Cease couldn’t go deep in the game but was effective, pitching 5 innings of 1-run ball to go along with 8 strikeouts. Timely hitting was not an issue today as the Sox went 7-12 with RISP, highlighted by RBI doubles from Luis Robert and Andrew Vaughn. Not everything went the Sox way Tuesday, however. Eloy Jimenez landed on the IL with a hamstring strain that will cost him 2-3 weeks. Tim Anderson was also ejected during the game after not being granted a timeout. Herb Lawrence, Vinnie Duber and Sean Anderson will recap a busy day on the southside on the CHGO White Sox LIVE Postgame Podcast
