The Chicago Blackhawks held a lead in the 2nd period versus the heavily-favored New Jersey Devils but couldn’t hold on, losing their 8th straight game Saturday night. It was the return game for Jonathan Toews, who hadn’t played since January 28th due to long covid and chronic immune response syndrome. He factored into the scoring in the 3rd period, giving a perfect feed to Andreas Athanasiou for a goal in his second-straight game.
